1. The car body was not cleaned well before the operation, and there were a lot of oily dirt and other attachments directly polished on the car body.
2. Incorrect use of too fine-grained sandpaper to polish putty (dusty putty).
3. There is no cushioning pad before the grinding head and sanding disc when grinding the cambered surface.
4. Man-made losses.
1. Thoroughly clean before work
Oil stains and attachments will seriously affect the blocking resistance and cutting strength of the sand disc. If the grinding surface is not cleaned, the oil will cause the grinding head to slip easily during the grinding process, affecting the cutting force and prolonging the working time. The dust and oil will directly stick to the sand surface, and it is not easy to shake off, causing the sand surface to be blocked and reducing the cutting force.
Use special degreaser and cleaner to thoroughly clean the surface of the car body before grinding.
2. Use P80-P240 sandpaper as needed
The finer grain size sandpaper is mainly used for sanding the old putty paint film, and is not suitable for putty sanding, otherwise it will be easily blocked.
If you are grinding the putty area, use P80-P240 sandpaper as needed to quickly achieve the grinding effect.
3. Cushioned padding for added softness
The grinding head and the sanding surface are both horizontal planes, but the body has some radians in many details. There is no cushioning pad. No abrasive action. This will require repeated grinding and increase the consumption of sandpaper.
Add XYS cushioning pad between sandpaper and grinding head, which can effectively increase the softness of grinding head. When grinding radians and curved surfaces, the sand surface and grinding surface can fit better, achieving the grinding effect at one time, saving labor and time.
4. Sand discs are reusable
Sandpaper is an industrial consumable, but not a single-use item. Its function is to grind, so as long as the sand surface is not seriously blocked, there is still a strong cutting force, and after grinding one surface, the next surface can still be ground. It is necessary to remind operators and managers to avoid human waste from the perspective of environmental protection, and replace the new sandpaper after the sandpaper cannot be effectively ground.
